BL is a very pleasant bed and breakfast spot. It is clean, bright and well-presented. The hosts are friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean, bright and well-appointed. There is adequate parking and the lodge is well-situated to the south of Hereford.

Spacious, superbly clean room. Despite proximity to A49 my room was peaceful and quiet with the very comfortable bed ensuring I had an excellent night's sleep. Very good breakfast. Homely and welcoming staff. Great location for visiting Hereford and surrounding countryside.

After day at races we stayed overnight at Brandon lodge, we were given a lovely welcome by the host on arrival, room was comfortable clean and warm.Breakfast was of a large choice and the full English was really good.Would definitely stay here again.

The Brandon lodge was clean and quiet. We were provided with an excellent breakfast and helpful information. The walk from the centre of town was a bit longer than expected but quite doable.

This was our second time staying a Brandon Lodge, and it wont be our last! Situated on the main road into town, and only 15 minutes from everything you need, Brandon Lodge is our go to place to stay when visiting Wales. Our group enjoy the clean, tidy and comfortable rooms, a great breakfast each morning and then after a day of travelling around Wales, we head into town by foot or taxi and make use of a host of different venues serving a mix of great foods.Thank you to all at Brandon Lodge who always make our stay a pleasure. See you again soon!

This was our 2nd motorcycle trip staying at Brandon Lodge. Our twin room for me and my son was just right. Good Breakfast to start the day. We'll be back ...Richard Barker

We had a four day, three night stay at Brandon Lodge. We choose it because we had tickets on one of the days to the RHS Malvern flower show and wanted some time to see an area we had not visited before.It turned out to be a perfect B&B in a perfect location.It was very easy to drive across to Malvern of minutes drive to car parks south of the river in Hereford allowing an easy walk onto the town, and it was easy to access other surrounding towns and countryside.The B&B itself was very comfortable, rooms spacious and well equipped. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast provided was very good.Good off road parking. A really enjoyable and pleasant stay and we would readily come back again

Our room was very comfortable and everything we needed was in it. Plenty of choice for breakfast including a full English which my husband loved. Hosts were very friendly and obliging.

Thanks for a very relaxing and chilled out stay. The location is very convenient for the city centre and touring the area. The garden rooms are quiet and comfortable. The hosts made our stay by being very welcomingand attentive, but not intrusive, enabling us to fully relax in their lovely home, conservatory and garden.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The welcome was friendly and helpful. We were shown to our room, and in all our travels this is the first time we can remember this happening. The room was clean and spacious. Our one problem was the location of the power points…inconveniently located. We recommend it to anyone travelling in the district of Hereford.

Brandon Lodge is a welcoming b&b with that homely feel. Everywhere is immaculately clean and well presented. The rooms are spacious with everything you need for an overnight stay or longer. The WiFi is good if you need Internet access for any reason. The breakfasts are delicious,all qood quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. I can't wait to return

Very friendly reception lovely spacious room with comfortable chairs, dressing table and cushion stool, good size wardrobe, nice size bathroom with bath and shower. Heating in both rooms. I stayed in Room 10 and had a warm welcome on arrival. The room was incredibly clean and very peaceful with decent facilities for a one night stay. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great night sleep. Breakfast in the morning was good and the service was pleasant too. I'd highly recommend this independent B&B to all those looking at staying in Hereford and I would visit again.

Perfect stay in beautiful Hereford. Brandon Lodge was set just outside the city centre, brilliant location. We stayed in the garden rooms which we found very comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed a fabulous cooked breakfast with all the usual trimmings. Found the Brandon Lodge without any problems. Plenty of parking, easy access to the rooms,very quiet away from the main road. Room was clean and the choice of breakfast was excellent.The use of the conservatory was a nice touch.

Absolutely no complaints. Brandon Lodge is a great place to stay. It's friendly, well organised, scrupulously clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a good start to the day - It would be even better (for us) if it was a little more vegan friendly but we would be really happy to come again!.

We always find Brandon Lodge a welcoming place to stay with everything clean and comfortable. Monique and her staff go the extra mile to try and accommodate all guests' needs. If you go to their website you'll see all that is provided within the price. As for the breakfast, whatever we choose it's always absolutely delicious, served by friendly, helpful staff. We'll definitely be back again after eight years of stays!

As a group of four male walkers we have experienced a considerable amount of accommodation around the UK over the years so can be quite critical. Monique does a great job. Brandon Lodge is very well run, clean with comfy rooms. Breakfast was excellent with friendly service. Monique could not have been more helpful and attentive. Well done.

We arrived on bicycles on a two day tour, there was great secure storage which put our mind at rest. Only a 15 min walk into town for dinner, nice to walk it off as well ;) room was lovely and clean, comfy beds and nice powerful shower. Owner and waitress at breakfast were super friendly. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again.

Welcoming staff and friendly clientel. For me the pillows were far too soft! Please can we have bigger cups or mugs. Breakfast was really great, and plenty of choice with cooked, cereal or both. Sets you up for the day. All in all a really good place to stay.

Brandon lodge is a fantastic B&B. We stayed 3 nights and had no problems at all, the room we had was faultless. The bed was very comfortable, the cooked breakfast was amazing and a great way to start our day. We walked in and out of town in 25-30 minutes wich wasn’t a problem. A personal email from the hotelier Monique, less than a day after making our booking assured us we had made a good choice for our three-night stay in Hereford.We were not disappointed! The hotel is beautifully decorated and furnished and the chalet bedroom was quiet and very comfortable. Monique and her staff are very attentive to their guests' needs. The lovely enclosed garden was perfect for evening "picnics" which were all we wanted after eating a Brandon Lodge,superbly cooked breakfast!

We stayed at Brandon Lodge, sadly, only for one night.Wish it had been longer.We were allocated two lovely rooms at the back of the hotel, away from the road.The rooms were very clean and very comfortable.Oh, how wonderful for a hotel actually to provide a hairdryer in front of a mirror!Tea and coffee tray, TV and Wi-fi too.Comfy bed in each room, as well as two chairs and a spotless bath/shower room.No road noise heard from the rooms.The staff were excellent and very helpful.Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and very good.Wish we had stayed longer but we will be back next time we are in the area.

It was our second stay at Brandon Lodge.Our first visit was when there were more Covid restrictions and everything was made very safe.The hotel is spotlessly clean, everything you need is in the well appointed rooms. Private on site parking is a plus too.The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.I would thoroughly recommend Brandon Lodge to anyone.

Travelling as a group of motorcyclists we stayed for 2 nights. We arrived early and Monique managed to accommodate us with all our baggage.Rooms were spot on, clean and tidy. Great location convenient for town. The garden rooms are set back behind the main hotel building so are not right on the main road, meaning they are nice and quiet.Monique and her staff are also super friendly and approachable.

We just needed an overnight stay but it’s a pity we couldn’t stay longer. The folder in the room outlines local attractions and good places to eat. The room itself is spacious, well equipped and clean, 2 armchairs and comfortable bed. Bathroom and shower all working perfectly, and fluffy white towels. Breakfast was very good, freshly cooked. Monique is an attentive friendly host.

Stayed in lovely , immaculate, spacious garden room at the rear of the property, so was very quiet. Ample off road parking. Great communication and host was very understanding when we had to rebook twice!! Breakfast was excellent, with cereals and menu to choose for cooked choices.Only just on outskirts of Hereford so in each reach of plenty of eating places and pubs. Would recommend a stay, everything at the property was clean and tastefully decorated. Very good value for money.

Lovely & clean, super breakfast.

We had a lovely two day stay at Brandon Lodge. We booked a room which the hotel upgraded at no extra cost, thank you. The room was beautiful, warm and very clean with thoughtful soaps in the bathroom and beverages and biscuits provided. Breakfasts were very tasty. We had the porridge with delicious local honey and also the fried breakfast. The poached and fried eggs were just right as were the rest of the breakfasts. The staff were wonderful, warm, friendly and attentive when we needed anything. We were attending a funeral and the locals all said that their relatives stay at Brandon Lodge when they visit. That is a recommendation! We will certainly be coming again.

Booked for one night to attend a funeral at Belmont Abbey. Easy online booking. We were allocated a garden room. It was cosy and warm, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Room was large with plenty of space for luggage. Decor was fine, not too modern or too old fashioned. Access and parking were easy. Breakfast was included and was very good with lots of choice. Overall very happy to recommendBrandon Lodge and would certainly stay there again.

Had a phone call off the owner to tell me all details just before we arrived. Check in was easy. Really nice room we stayed in a garden view room. Because of covid the bar was closed but no prob as bought some beer and we could drink them in the conservatory. Breakfast was nice nothing was a problem. Will be returning.

I have stayed at Brandon Lodge quite a few times over the years, each stay has been absolutely perfect. From the time of booking I was made to feel welcome with friendly and informative communications via email/telephone from Monique who has always made us feel special, paying attention, personally, to all details and can never do enough for customers, which is the main reason for our returning. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!Brandon Lodge is beautiful, on arrival it is seen all outside areas are well kept and regularly cared for. The rooms are always immaculate, warm, smell and feel fresh, excellent quality furnishings/bedding, great selection of complimentary toiletries and hot beverages with everything you need (and more), lovely environment to enjoy a comfortable break. Excellent breakfast, tasty local food, wide variety of cereal,juice,fruit,pastry,bread and cooked breakfast, politely served by Amy.As always, an absolutely perfect stay at Brandon Lodge, we will be booking to come again as soon as we can. I stayed at Brandon Lodge for one night for work and wished I had been staying for longer. The room was nice, spacious and very clean. Check-in was quick, breakfast was very good and the owner was helpful and provided local information which was very useful. It was very quiet, I got a great night's sleep and it was good value. I'd definitely stay again when I'm in the area.

An ideal overnight stop with a very comfortable bed and excellent breakfast.

We stayed in a lodge room which was excellent. The room was quiet, comfortable and well decorated. The breakfast was delicious. There was no evening meal available but that didn’t matter as the Griffin inn was a 2 minute drive away. The only downside was that we didn’t see anyone apart from the breakfast waitress. The key had been left in our lodge and there was no one to return it to in the morning.

Monique and her staff give a very warm welcome. Our room was very spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Excellent shower. We had the full English breakfast which was delicious. Precautions were taken concerning covid i.e. mask wearing indoors, 2m distance, staggered breakfast times, so that the breakfast room is not full at any given time and of course hand sanitiser is provided at the entrance. Even though situated on a road, you cannot hear the traffic as the garden area and rooms are behind a huge hedge. Really enjoyed our peaceful stay. I definitely recommend Brandon Lodge.

very friendly staff, breakfast was excellent. The room is comfortable, of a good size and clean.Spacious bathroom. A good size wardrobe, which you will hardly find nowadays.carpark with plenty of space, free of charge and there is also a lovely garden. In conclusion: of a high standard.

Returning to my hometown & bringing my mother to visit family & friends. Found the Brandon Lodge on-line, after our booking with an alternative hotel was cancelled. How fortunate for us as everything was just perfect, even in the difficult times of 2020. From receiving a call from Monique while on route to explain the check-in procedure, to checkout, our stay was seamless, with precautions having been taken to protect both staff & guests.We had 2 garden rooms - very spacious, clean, comfortable & very well appointed, with easy access from the car park. Plenty to eat at breakfast, with care taken to stagger entry times to minimise numbers in the dining room at any one time. The price was also very reasonable & somewhere I would heartily recommend & stay again in the future. Monique even telephoned to advise I had left an item on the bedside table & offered to hold it for collection, or send it on. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

Brandon Lodge is an excellent place to stay just south of Hereford. There is plenty of free parking. The rooms are large and very comfortable, having everything you would need. Ours looked out onto pleasant gardens. The Staff are friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Everywhere was lovely and clean and Covid safe. from the time you step in the place,you are treated like family.the whole place is spotless.the rooms are first class,the beds very comfortable.the only comment I would make is,the cups in the rooms are very small for the morning cuppa.i would recommend this palace every time.

We had a short stay at Brandon Lodge for a nearby wedding. The staff are pleasant and the room was very comfortable. The best part was the breakfast! Absolutely delicious Full English with quality ingredients.

We have stayed at Brandon Lodge a few tumes now and we skwats receive a warm and friendly welcome.Excellent accommodation and breakfast.Own parking which is great and a hostess who has lots of advice to give to travellers new to the area.Licensed if you choose to have a bevy.

Very enjoyable and good value for money

The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent.The whole weekend was great value for money.I couldn't fault Brandon Lodge in any way.

Warm welcome on arrival, room comfortable and spacious, with ample tea/coffee available. Very comfortable bed and quiet environment. Cooked breakfast was delicious, friendly and helpful staff. If you don't mind walking and the weather is good, it's an easy 25min walk to city centre.

I stayed here a few years ago and it was so good that as I was once more travelling to Herefordshire I didn’t hesitate to stay at Brandon Lodge again. The rooms are always clean and the beds very comfortable. The Breakfast was lovely, just like the last time we stayed, and the staff and owners are always very friendly and helpful. 3 years ago we stayed at the Brandon Lodge on our way to the Wirral. What a great find. Since then we have stayed several times and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Very comfortable ground floor rooms. The breakfast room is really elegant and the food excellent. WiFi is super fast.

Excellent, quiet and comfortable accommodation within easy reach of Hereford City centre. Fantastic host and a great breakfast.

We were looking for somewhere to stop one night and decided on ‘Brandon Lodge’ We received a lovely welcome and then taken to one of the outside lodges which was great and everything we needed was thought of!! The breakfast in the attractive dining room was delicious and freshly cooked. We couldn’t fault anything and will definitely stay again!! A big WOW factor!! Thank you.

We were really happy with our stay here. We even booked an extra night so we could tour the area a little longer. Our room wsd in the block behind the house. This gave us a bit more privacy and was very quiet. There were very pleasant gardens and a seating area . The breakfast was excellent and a great choice. Staff very helpful especially with recommending places to visit. Will definetely return when we are down there again

Stayed over the bank holiday. The rooms are very clean with all facilities. Breakfast was wonderful and using locally sourced produce.

Very clean, warm and inviting accommodation. Staff very pleasant.Have used the Brandon Lodge before and will certainly not hesitate to use it again when I'm in the area on business.

Brandon Lodge is really comfortable, well equipped and immaculately clean. They serve a lovely freshly cooked breakfast using plenty of local produce.

This is our third stay at Brandon Lodge and we can't see any reason to go anywhere else when we are in the area. It is ideally placed for the Wye Valley touristy things and offers no-nonsense good value. Spotlessly clean rooms, friendly staff, excellent breakfast - what more does one need!

We have stayed here several times now and the standards never falter. The rooms are always clean, comfortable and homely. The breakfast menu is extensive (always cooked to order). Cereals/fruit/yogurts/fruit juice etc and speciality teas ready to self serve while order and hot drinks being prepared. Anything you may need whilst you stay and your hosts will do their best to help you. A most homely place to stay (with free wifi in all areas).

Very good accommodation and helpful staff. Our 6 night stay probably unusual,so we noted following 'needs'-hooks in hallway of room to hang wet outer clothes; more towel rails in bathroom to allow wet towels to dry; brighter bedside light to allow reading in bed. Hope that is helpful.

This was the second time my sister and I have stayed at Brandon Lodge, and again it was fabulous. This establishment is a pleasant surprise on the edge of Hereford. Clean, quiet and very friendly staff. Always making sure I had everything I needed. This is a great place to rest, relax or use as your home base while taking in the area.

I stayed for two nights in October and was delighted with my room, the facilities and the choice at breakfast. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and I have no hesitation in recommending Brandon Lodge as excellent hotel, which is close to Hereford.

We were so impressed with Brandon Lodge. The staff were all fantastic and incredibly helpful, the entire place was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious and offered a very good choice (perfect poached eggs!) We were attending a wedding so we weren't in the area for long, however it is a part of the country we would like to explore and we'll definitely be staying here when we do come back. We have stayed here a few times now and have never been disappointed. The welcome on arrival you receive from the owners is outstanding. The rooms are tastefully decorated and spotless at all times.The breakfast has a wide and varied selection from cereals and fruit to full English very tasty and superb service. The owners really do go the extra mile to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Brendon lodge will always remain our first and only choice whilst visiting Hereford and soroundings, we will as always recommend it highly to family and friends.

We stayed at Brandon Lodge whilst we explored Hereford and its countryside. It was really easy to get everywhere from it. The hotel and its hosts were welcoming. The beds were comfortable. We were in a twin in the garden and had plenty of space to sit and relax after a busy day touring. The breakfasts were efficiently served by friendly staff in a pleasant room and the cooked breakfasts were perfect. My only points to make the whole stay perfect would be a more powerful shower, although the temperature was great, mugs for drinks in the room and better lighting for reading in either the chairs or in bed. There was a useful light over the dressing table and bright ones in the bathroom. We would definitely chose to stay here in the future and recommend it to all.

My wife and I stayed one night at Brandon Lodge and was our second stay. Very welcoming, very smart and clean throughout with an excellent breakfast. Good car park & conveniently situated adjacent to the Hereford to Ross-on-Wye road. Will certainly stay here again.

Spent 3 nights at Brandon Lodge whilst on a business trip to Hereford (8th to 11th Feb 2015 inclusive).Excellent B&B accomodation.Clean, warm, very comfortable and convenient for my business trip.Handy for an evening trip into Hereford town centre for a meal and close to the business location I was visiting.I can't think of any complaints at all.I would suggest that perhaps an evening meal could be offered as part of the "package"

From the moment we walked through the door we were treated with kindness and courtesy and a pot of hot, fresh coffee. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and very pretty. The location was very quiet, in rolling countryside. Breakfast was beautifully cooked to order, hot and delicious. Great hospitality,would highly recommend.

Stayed at Brandon Lodge for a family wedding nearby. Excellent B&B, with very helpful owner (we changed the type of rooms required at late notice and Brandon Lodge sorted it out). Nice clean rooms and very quiet, very good breakfast. We would stay there again if we were in the area.

This was our 4th stay here as we look forward to the stay as much as the visit to Hereford. We always receive a warm welcome; comfortable accommodation with all we need provided and a delicious selection of food provided/breakfast menu cooked to perfection. When we had a special request i.e. decaff drinks please, they were only too happy to oblige. They are such excellent hosts here and, where applicable, make an effort to remember you from previous stays.

We have stayed several times at this lovely B&B. We always have a warm welcome. The accommodation is of a very high standard and we always feel very comfortable. Delicious breakfast in the morning!

I stayed at Brandon Lodge with my cousin who was visiting from Canada. What a lovely place to stay. We had one of the garden rooms which was fantastic.It was lovely to have a decent shower in the bathroom! The breakfast that was included was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts.

Just perfect for what I needed, very clean, quiet and peaceful friendly staff, will always stay there when I'm in Hereford.

This was my first stay at Brandon Lodge and although it was only one night I found it very pleasant. The staff were very nice, the rooms were very clean and the breakfast set my friend and I up for a good day's fishing! I will definitely be visiting again when I'm next up!
